Fluoroscopy

Fluoroscopy is a study of moving body structures. A continuous X-ray beam is passed through the body part and sent to a video monitor so that the body part and its motion can be seen in detail. Fluoroscopy may be used to evaluate specific areas of the body. These include the bones, bowel, muscles, heart vessels, and joints. Our state-of-the-art technology, the most recent invasive techniques provide patients the most effective care. At Usman Memorial Hospital we have a dedicated room in our radiology department for fluoroscopy.
