OPERATING ROOM

At UMH, the Operating Room Team provides services to all surgical patients. They work under the supervision of surgeons for both planned (elective) and emergency procedures. Before every surgery, the Operating Room (OR) team conducts a detailed analysis of the patient’s surgical procedure and site of the procedure to minimize surgical errors. The OR team provides Surgical Day Care facilities where minor surgeries for the ear, nose and throat, general surgeries and kidney-bladder related (urology) are scheduled.

Our highly trained and committed team of anesthesiologists, surgeons, nurses, technicians and administrators work day and night to ensure that the best surgical care is provided to all patients in an organized and smooth manner.​​ Our OR is functional round the clock and is always ready for action. We have 2 Operating Theaters and a Pre/Post Operation Bays for observation before shifting in and out of OR.
