CSSD

The Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD) is a state-of-the-art instrument processing and sterilizing facility at the Usman Memorial Hospital. It is the service responsible for receiving, storing, processing, distributing and controlling the professional supplies and equipment (both sterile and non-sterile) for all user units of the Hospital for the care and safety of patients under strict Quality Control. CSSD has a great role in reducing Hospital Acquired Infection. It operates 24 hours a day to provide complete and cost-effective decontamination, performed by a team of highly experienced sterile services professionals.
