Welfare Contribution

The Usman Memorial Hospital relies upon the trust and support of its Patrons and donors to meet the ever-increasing needs of our underprivileged patients. UMH solicits support for Patient Welfare Fund and for building additional healthcare facilities.

PATIENT WELFARE DEPARTMENT

The department assists the most indigent members of society, without any discrimination or compromise on the quality of care. Generous donors support these humanitarian efforts, as a legal entity. The affairs of welfare department are regularly audited by Al Hilal Shariah Advisors. They ensure that the department abides by the Shariah laws in identifying the deserving patients.

All Zakat donations are used for the sole treatment of the patients, with no amount allocated to administrative or other expenses. All disbursement of Zakat funds is through a transparent process. This ensures that disbursements of Zakat funds are done in a manner that allows the donors to fulfill their religious responsibilities in the highest manner.

We hope that our generous donors and well-wishers will continue to aid us in our quest to provide the best quality of service to the underprivileged. All of this could not have been possible without the continuous help of our generous donors who contributed in every form. We would never have been able to achieve such great milestones without their unquantifiable support.
